Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! We are excited for what will hopefully be “post-pandemic” times and a return to a full slate of district activities throughout the year. With all the digital advancements that we have seen in education over the past two years, the West Chester Area School District’s priority will always be the whole child. We take great pride in focusing on the individual qualities that make each of our students unique. Our teachers strive to provide the best possible educational experience so all children can achieve their personal best and realize extensive opportunities in their future.
In addition to strong academics, arts, and athletics, we focus on preparing students for the real world. We understand that the development of digital skills is important, but success in the 21st Century is also dependent on the “soft skills” and ability to connect with one another.
As we welcome students back to school this year, we will emphasize the importance of creating learning communities that foster a strong sense of belonging and high expectations for all students. Our students are very fortunate to grow up in a community that is a wonderful place to live, work, and raise children. Thank you for entrusting us with your child.
