WCASD has purchased a license for a web-based program called Study Island.  Study Island can be accessed by your child anywhere there is internet access such as home, the library or school. Study Island is used by teachers to target their instruction and to help prepare our students for the state standardized tests.  Each section is made up of topics, each of which corresponds to a specific state math standard.  Your child's teacher will make assignments to the class that corresponds to the standards upon which s/he is focusing in the classroom.  Simply log on to the Study Island website. Your child has his/her username and password.

Study Island is our district benchmarking tool in math and reading. There will be three or four benchmark test for grades 3 -5 throughout the school year.
