Randell Spackman lives on his family's historic 1709 Thornbury Farm, with wife Kimberly, four daughters – Morgan, Rebecca, Darby, Madison, and son Jude. His two eldest daughters are graduates of the West Chester Area School District. His younger daughters attend Stetson Middle School and Starkweather Elementary School. Randell graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in resource economics. He has a keen interest in elementary education and theater, and he is an active member of the community.
Randell founded Thornbury Services in 1992, because of his passion for restoring older homes and interest in the preservation of land and history. Randell is a strong proponent of local farming and also runs Thornbury Farm CSA which offers produce to the community. Randell's love of adventure and safety led him to become a certified instructor of PADI scuba diving and a First Aid Responder and instructor. He also sits on several boards supporting local history including the Chadds Ford Historical Society and Thornbury Township Historical Commission.
Randell’s background in education management began when he served as board president of The Concept School in Westtown.
In his spare time, Randell enjoys spending time with his family and working on antique cars and firetrucks. He has a passion for music and theater and is currently restoring an 1889 Haskil pipe organ. The restoration project has become a great source of entertainment for family and friends. Randell is proud to be a member of the WCASD school board.
