All medications (prescription and non-prescription) must be dispensed by the school nurse. All medications must be in the original labeled container with a note from the doctor AND parent. We file both notes in your child’s health record at the end of the school year. We cannot file the label from your child’s medication container!

Please do not send pills to school in a baggie or any container that is not the original packaging the medication came in.

Tylenol and Ibuprofen products are the only analgesics we are permitted to dispense. Benadryl can be given for minor allergic reactions only. We cannot give it for seasonal/environmental allergies. If your child receives Benadryl during the school day, a parent/guardian will be notified
