The Gifted Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) for Gifted Education welcomes you. We are a group of parents who work closely with teachers, students, and administrators from all schools in the district to ensure the gifted program provides the best possible educational experience for the students.
If your child has been recommended to or newly accepted into the gifted program, we are here to answer any questions and share our experiences. We advocate for children and bring up questions that parents might have about the program.
If you have questions about the gifted program in your school, contact the appropriate Gifted PAC School Representative and please feel free to contact these volunteers for further information. If your school needs a representative, please consider volunteering.
Gifted PAC has a grant application process for the Gifted Resource Teachers so they can apply for mini-grants through the Gifted PAC. The funds support the work of the gifted resource teachers. Our WCASD Gifted PAC Craft Fair is our largest fundraiser.
Your participation is critical. Please become a member of the Gifted PAC! A visible and active PAC alerts the school district to the strong support we know parents have for the continued success of the program. Click here to download the 2024-25 membership form and to see how you can help to provide much-needed support.

We are an advocacy group for the gifted program and meet regularly during the school year to share information, discuss programs, and host guest speakers. PAC meeting info is located just below and meetings are open to everyone.
