Cafeteria Conduct
The lunch period should be a relaxing and pleasant break in the school day for all students. In order to maintain a pleasant atmosphere, everyone's cooperation is necessary. Students are expected to arrive at the cafeteria on time, as they would for class. Food must remain in the cafeteria. Trash, food, or other objects must never by thrown. In order for everyone to enjoy a clean eating place, tables and the floor around them should be clean before leaving. Students must obtain a pass to leave the cafeteria for any reason. Students are expected to behave with courtesy and consideration for others.
Early Dismissals from School
In case of a request for an early dismissal from school, a written note, signed by the parent or guardian, must be presented at the main office DURING HOMEROOM of the day of the request. Students will then be issued an early dismissal pass by the office at that time.
Hallways and Stairways
Students are to show politeness and consideration when using the hallways and stairs. At all times, students will walk on the right side in an orderly fashion. The stairwell nearest rooms 101-201-301 is "up only" between classes. The stairwell nearest rooms 102-202-302 is "down only" between classes.
Homeroom
Homeroom is used for attendance, clerical work, announcements for students, and the distribution of information to be taken home. Please stress to your child that he/she is responsible for the delivery of notices to parents. Homerooms are assigned and parents are notified during the summer mailing. New students are assigned a homeroom at the time of registration.
Insurance
The school provides an opportunity for students to purchase insurance covering school-associated injuries. Applications for this insurance will be distributed to students during homeroom the first week of school.
Invoices for Lost/Damaged School Property
Invoices will be issued to students for any lost or damaged school books or class materials. We feel that in all fairness to taxpayers, the school should exert every effort to encourage children to take care of textbooks and materials issued to them, and to be responsible for all school property. If this obligation is not fulfilled by the end of the school year, the report card and student records will be held by the office. Everyone's cooperation is very much appreciated.
Lateness to School/Class
Students arriving after 7:45 a.m. are considered tardy. Only an extreme emergency is considered an excused lateness. Any student arriving late MUST report to the office for a pass to class. Repeated lateness will result in detentions and suspensions. Truancy and lateness have a negative effect on student performance. Students are expected to be prepared and on time for each class. Once classes have begun, students are not permitted in the hallways without a pass from a teacher.
Eligibility Rules for Extracurricular Activities
In order for a student to be eligible to participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, or athletics, the following rules apply:

- New students must comply with the rules. Information relating to previous marking period will be obtained from records of the last school attended.
