MUSIC PERFORMANCE GROUPS

A goal of the Music Department is to reach the greatest possible number of students through choral and instrumental music groups. These groups, while being highly activity-oriented, impart some basic knowledge of musical notation, music literature, and instrumental or vocal techniques. These performance groups are6th-grade band, 7th-8th-grade band, 6th-grade chorus, 7th-grade chorus, 8th-grade chorus, 6th-grade string ensemble, 7th-8th-grade string ensemble, and orchestra.
