Parent Advisory Committee for Gifted Education

  •

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) for Gifted Education is the PTO for families of gifted students in K-12. We work towards the best possible gifted education program across the West Chester Area School District (WCASD). We cooperate closely with teachers, students and administrators.

We invite you to our monthly meetings usually held the third Wednesday evening of the month during the school year, except in Nov. and Dec. Parents, teachers and administrators share information and discuss programs.

Highlights include a successful craft fair, working with teachers, parents and administrators to support the gifted program, a presenters on topics of interest for families of gifted students and the chance to see students present their work at the end of the year.

We support gifted teachers by providing grants for use in their classrooms and award scholarships to two graduating seniors from each high school.

A visible and active PAC alerts the school district to the strong support we know parents have for the continued success of the program.

We urge you to join our group to stay in touch with all the latest developments.  Please visit the WCASD website to get more information.
