Beginning in the 22-23 school year, East will be implementing a new mentor program, the Viking Leader Program [VLP]. Select juniors and seniors will work with a small group of incoming freshmen throughout the year to help facilitate their transition to high school. We are excited to be starting this program and will open up the application process to current sophomores and juniors who might be interested in being a Viking Leader. The application window will open January 24th and close February 11th. 

This would be a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with the school and other students while building their leadership skills. If you’d like to learn more about the program, I created this brief video explaining the VLP. I also shared it with students earlier today on Schoology.
