FAFSA

FAFSA is used by the Department of Education to award federal financial aid from the US government in the form of grants, work-study programs, and loans. When students apply for aid, they do not receive funding from the government directly. Instead, institutions are allocated a certain amount of financial aid to award to students each year.  Access the application here.
