I began my career in Education as a classroom teacher and athletics coach in the WCASD, spending the majority of my time working at the High School level in addition to teaching some Middle School classes as well.  Being dual certified in Math and Social Studies, and also spending some time working in Special Education, has provided me with a professional background and experiences which are different than most in the Secondary level where folks can be more specialized in their specific Department areas.  I’ve also spent some time working outside of the WCASD, gaining a different perspective on the high school experience, with 3 school years as an Assistant High School Principal in another District before returning in May 2021 to East – I can say I am thrilled to be a member of the East High School community!
 
Growing up in Exton myself, where I currently reside with my family, I have a great appreciation for what this area can offer our residents.  Having chosen to build a life here for myself, my aim is to assist in providing Students the opportunity to engage in work here at East which aids in preparing them to pursue the aspirations they have for life after their time in the WCASD.  I look forward to continuing to work with our community to support our students in developing the skills they need to be successful.  Go Vikings!
