6th Grade Social Studies - World Geography:
The students employ the Five Themes of Geography to explore physical and cultural characteristics of the World. (unleveled)
7th Grade Social Studies - United States Studies:
The course has two components. The first marking period is a geographical overview of the United States. Marking periods two, three and four cover Early American History from the beginnings to 1787 prior to the writing of the U.S. Constitution. Seventh grade Social Studies is unleveled.
8th Grade Social Studies - United States History from 1763 to 1914:
The course will only cover U.S. domestic issues from 1898 to 1914. Eighth grade Social Studies has two levels based primarily on reading and writing skill levels.
