Purchasing Equipment for School, Classroom, and Office

  • Below is a list of the West Chester Area School District Computer Equipment Recommendation as approved by the Technology Department. Each product has been reviewed to ensure that we can support it and that it is compatible with our configuration.

    Standardization is the key for efficient support. When equipment is standardized, the Technology staff is familiar with specific hardware leading to our ability to diagnose and resolve issues faster. It also allows our staff to work with you and the vendor in a timely manner to solve any issues. Therefore, any products you purchase for your building and/or your department must be part of the recommended product list.

    (Price Quotations expire in a time period specified by the vendor. Pricing will only be honored if the PO is received by the vendor before the expiration of the quotation.)

    • Desktop Computers – Please submit a request.
    • Laptop Computers – Please submit a request.
    • Displays – Please submit a request.
    • Interactive Projector/Board – Please submit a request.
    • Printers – Approval from Technology is needed to purchase a printer. Please go to the Printer Request Form to request quote information. In the meantime, these are the printers currently recommended. Comparison documents are listed below.

      • Color – HP Color LaserJet Pro M4201dn, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 5700dn, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 6700dn, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 6701dn 
    • Projectors – Please submit a request.
    • Projector Lamps – Please submit model number.
    • Document Cameras – IPEVO. Please submit a request.
    • iPads – iPad Air, VGA adapter, Volume Voucher. Please submit a request.
    • Speakers – Please submit a request.
    • Headphones – Logitech Stereo Headset H110, Logitech H340 USB Headset. Please submit a request.
